Job Description
We are looking for quality manager for NBFC client of ours.
Position Overview
The Quality Manager is responsible for implementing the organization's quality strategy across assigned business functions. The role focuses on improving processes, maintaining quality standards, reducing rework, and driving continuous improvement by working closely with business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
- Maintain a Process Gap Register to track improvement opportunities.
- Support the creation, implementation, and maintenance of SOPs.
- Work with teams to reduce rework and improve turnaround time (TAT).
- Monitor rework trends and escalate recurring issues.
Quality Monitoring
- Monitor quality metrics and ensure compliance with defined quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits and maintain audit records.
- Prepare and share weekly quality reports with business leaders.
- Track department-wise quality scores.
- Support continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives.
Quality Projects
- Assist in executing quality improvement projects using the DMAIC methodology.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement improvement initiatives.
- Track project progress and provide regular status updates.
Process Implementation
- Support the rollout of new processes and quality improvements.
- Ensure smooth adoption of new procedures across teams.
- Resolve operational issues during process transitions.
Training & Quality Awareness
- Conduct basic quality and process training for employees.
- Support Quality Champions across departments.
- Promote awareness of SOPs, quality standards, and First Time Right (FTR) practices through dashboards, visual displays, and regular communication.
Certification: Lean six sigma black belt professional is mandatory
