Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Sales Lead / Manager to drive business growth in the Food Processing industry. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in B2B solution selling, business development, and client relationship management. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, promoting consulting and turnkey manufacturing solutions, and managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Food Processing and Food & Beverage sectors.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, proposal presentation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with food manufacturers and key decision-makers.
- Conduct client meetings, plant visits, and technical discussions to understand customer requirements.
- Prepare and present customized consulting and turnkey project proposals.
- Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close high-value business opportunities.
- Promote end-to-end manufacturing solutions, including plant setup, factory expansion, modernization, process optimization, and commissioning support.
- Coordinate with technical, engineering, and project teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and opportunity pipelines.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company's overall business growth.
- Stay updated on market trends, customer requirements, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Mandatory
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology.
- 5–7 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Key Account Management within the Food Processing industry.
- Strong understanding of food processing operations and food safety standards.
- Proven experience in consultative or solution-based selling.
- Experience managing the complete sales lifecycle.
Preferred
- MBA in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing consulting, engineering solutions, industrial projects, or turnkey project sales.
