Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)

Our client is looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join their team, supporting cloud infrastructure, managing Level 2 support, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working across cloud and infrastructure environments, and partnering closely with business stakeholders. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 2 support for end users and manage escalations Oversee daily IT operations and ensure high system availability Deploy, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure (VMs, AKS, App Services, networking, storage, security) Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize workloads Automate infrastructure and operational processes using tools such as Jenkins, PowerShell, and Azure CLI Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards (e.g. MAS TRM, PCI-DSS) Skills & Experience6–8 years of relevant experience in Microsoft Azure environments Strong hands-on experience with: Azure App Services Azure networking (TCP/IP, subnetting, VNet peering, S2S & P2S VPN) Azure Gateway and Load Balancing Automation scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, YAML, etc.) Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and container technologies Exposure to DevOps / CI-CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Terraform) Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Dynatrace, Grafana, and PRTG Experience with Cloudflare (DNS & Web Application Firewall) is advantageous Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365

Qualifications & CertificationsDegree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience Nice to Have:Azure certifications (Associate, DevOps Engineer, Architect, or Security) Additional certifications such as CISSP or GIAC are a plus
