Senior Network Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement enterprise network infrastructure solutions (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls), ensuring alignment with project and business requirementsDocument detailed network architecture, deployment, and migration plans for customer projects and internal operationsWork closely with cybersecurity, systems, and application teams to deliver secure, integrated, and scalable end-to-end solutionsEnsure high availability, performance, and security of network systems across multiple environmentsLead or participate in financial sector projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standardsProvide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, and contribute to establishing network architecture standardsTake ownership of maintaining and managing existing customer networks, ensuring stability, performance, and adherence to SLAsAct as the technical point of contact for enterprise clients, including handling escalations, troubleshooting, and driving strategic network improvementsContinuously evaluate new technologies and recommend enhancements to meet evolving business needsEffective bilingual in English and Chinese because the candidate needs to liaise with English and Chinese speaking clients and colleagues RequirementsMinimum of 5 years’ experience in enterprise networking rolesStrong hands-on experience with networking products and protocols (Huawei, Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, etc.)Solid understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, BGP/OSPF, VLANs, and VoIPProven experience in projects within the banking or financial services industryStrong ability to draft and present comprehensive network deployment and implementation plans, tailored to enterprise and financial sector environmentsExcellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsStrong command of both written and spoken English and MandarinStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to lead technical initiatives and contribute to strategic infrastructure planningRelevant certifications preferred: HCIP/HCIE, CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, AWS Networking Specialty, etc. Preferred QualificationsExperience in a technical leadership or team lead roleFamiliarity with cloud networking and hybrid environmentsExperience managing disaster recovery (DR), network migrations, or core banking infrastructure projects
