Senior Planning Engineer / Planning Engineer

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project schedules in consultation with the project teamCoordinate and obtain inputs from project team, contractors and suppliers to support the development of project programmesPrepare baseline schedule which includes resources, cost loadings, S-curves, Programme Narratives, and scope appreciation presentationWork on progress forecasts and prepare rolling programmesPrepare weekly & monthly report to update, track and report project progress against planned schedulePrepare & develop micro-programme for specific trades for site planning & coordinationMonitor and control progress to make sure that turnover and cost is in line with master construction programMonitor timely submission of drawings & materials with approvalsMonitor project orders and deliveries are in accordance with agreed schedulesCarry out in the overall interfacing and coordination works aligning to the baseline schedule with respective discipline in chargePrepare & develop claimable EOT as per contractual clauses with commercial team with potential new catch-up programmes

Requirements:

Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore or Building and Construction Authority (BCA)Good understanding of construction industry practices and standards to perform planning and schedulingAt least 3 - 5 years’ experience in projects valued at more than $100millions with hands on experience doing planning and scheduling for building projects with external worksProficient in planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft ProjectExperience in LTA programme preparation, programme requirements and submissions will be an added advantageCandidate with 4D BIM knowledge will have an added advantageHighly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently to produce programmes, narrative and histogramsMeticulous, eye for details and a good team playerAbility to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environmentThis is a site-based position.
