Job Description
OverviewWe are looking for a ServiceNow Low Code Engineer to support the development and enhancement of Customer Service Management (CSM) solutions and digital service platforms.This role will focus on building applications and workflows using ServiceNow App Engine and low-code capabilities, helping deliver scalable service portals, automation workflows, and integrated digital services.
The position sits within a large enterprise program delivering modern digital service platforms, working closely with architects, developers, and stakeholders to deliver robust ServiceNow solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesServiceNow DevelopmentDesign and develop applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platformConfigure and customise Customer Service Management (CSM) capabilitiesBuild solutions using App Engine Studio including data models, access controls, and UI componentsExtend platform functionality where required while maximising out-of-the-box features
Workflow AutomationDevelop automated workflows using Flow Designer and Integration HubConfigure case routing, escalation processes, and service workflows within CSMSupport orchestration between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications
Integration & Portal DevelopmentBuild and customise Service Portal components and widgetsImplement integrations using REST and SOAP APIsSupport connectivity with enterprise systems and Microsoft Azure environments
Platform GovernanceApply ServiceNow security and access control best practicesEnsure solutions align with platform governance and regulatory standardsSupport documentation and knowledge transfer for developed solutions
Required Experience4–6 years of ServiceNow development experienceHands-on experience implementing ServiceNow CSM solutionsAt least 2 years developing applications using ServiceNow App EngineExperience building Service Portal components or custom widgetsExperience developing integrations using REST / SOAP APIsStrong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript)
Senior candidates should demonstrate experience leading technical implementation or mentoring developers.
Technical SkillsExperience with several of the following:ServiceNow development (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions)ServiceNow CSM configuration and customisationApp Engine Studio / low-code developmentService Portal development (AngularJS, Bootstrap, CSS)Workflow automation using Flow Designer / Integration HubIntegration technologies including REST, SOAP, JSON, XMLAuthentication methods such as OAuth or SAMLIntegration with Microsoft Azure or enterprise platforms
