About Evitova
Evitova is pre-launch — we're finalising production and preparing to go live in the coming months. Evitova Lab is India's first diagnosis-led scalp protocol brand — clinical, calm, premium, and gender-neutral. We diagnose a customer's scalp through a science-backed quiz and prescribe a matched protocol, rather than selling single products off a shelf.
The role
We're looking for a Social Media & Content Lead to own our organic content end-to-end — the thinking and the plan, not just execution. You'll build the content calendar, originate concepts, write captions, direct our founder-facing shoots, oversee product/content shoots, and brief our video editor.
This is a hybrid role: most work (planning, writing, briefing, reviewing, reporting) is remote. You'll come on-site for scheduled shoot days, roughly 4–6 times a month, where we batch-shoot several Reels' worth of footage in one session.
What you'll actually do
- Own and maintain the content calendar — what goes out, when, and why
- Originate Reel and post concepts
- Direct founder-facing Reels — coach on-camera delivery, frame shots, manage pacing, background, and retakes so the founder comes across natural and confident on camera
- Oversee product and content shoots
- Write captions and on-screen copy within our compliant-language rules
- Brief our Motion/Video Editor clearly on each piece — shot list, references, on-screen text
- Review edited content before publishing
- Post to Instagram on schedule
- Track weekly performance — reach, saves, shares, and profile→quiz clicks — and report what's working and what to adjust
What we're looking for
- 1–3+ years of relevant experience managing social media content for a brand — in-house, freelance, or agency-side — ideally in D2C, beauty, wellness, or a similarly premium category
- Comfortable directing talent on camera — you've coached someone (founder, creator, or teammate) through a talking-head shoot before, not just filmed b-roll
- Comfortable reading basic performance data (reach, saves, shares, click-throughs) and adjusting the content plan accordingly
- Based in or able to travel into Mumbai for scheduled shoot days
