Beanstalkedu is hiring a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth across Bangalore and Chennai.
We are an early childhood education and EdTech company building a connected ecosystem for schools, preschool founders, teachers, training partners, and education entrepreneurs. Our flagship platform, aKadmy, is an AI-powered operating system for early-years schools, supported by specialist education brands including Teeny Beans, IIMTT, and Atheneum Global.
We are looking for a senior sales and business development professional who can build strong institutional relationships, identify growth opportunities, and convert school, preschool, and education-sector prospects into long-term customers and partners.
What you will do
You will be responsible for identifying and engaging preschools, school owners, school chains, training institutes, education entrepreneurs, and institutional partners across your region.
The role will involve pitching and selling aKadmy school SaaS subscriptions, developing strategic partnerships, supporting preschool setup and teacher-training opportunities, conducting product presentations and demos, managing a structured sales pipeline, and driving revenue growth.
You will also work closely with the inside sales, marketing, academic, product, and leadership teams to convert leads, support regional campaigns, gather market feedback, and strengthen Beanstalkedu’s presence in South India.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate should have:
- 5+ years of experience in business development, institutional sales, EdTech sales, school sales, franchise development, or education-sector partnerships.
- Experience selling to schools, preschools, education businesses, training institutes, or institutional decision-makers.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct demos, meetings, webinars, and senior-level sales conversations.
- Strong follow-up discipline, CRM usage, pipeline tracking, and target ownership.
- Comfort with regional travel for school visits, partner meetings, events, and presentations.
- Prior experience in EdTech, school SaaS, preschool, K-12, curriculum, teacher training, or franchise sales will be preferred.
