Who You AreCore requirements5+ years in data engineering, with meaningful hands-on experience in payments, fintech, or financial servicesYou've taken data infrastructure from zero to production— designed, shipped, debugged, iteratedHands-on experience with Databricks, Airflow, and dbt; comfortable with a modern cloud DWH (Snowflake or BigQuery); Python and SQL are second nature - you write transformation logic yourself, not just review others'Comfortable mentoring distributed junior engineers with patience and structureYou find solutions before finding excuses — ambiguity doesn't paralyse youStrong plusHands-on experiences on AI/LLM tooling — whether you've built ML feature pipelines, experimented with AI-assisted engineering, or just follow where the space is headingSolid grasp of at least one payment channel: card processing, bank transfers, e-wallets
