We are a fast-growing automotive dealership group specializing in helping customers with all credit situations. With high lead volume and strong lender relationships, we are looking for an experienced Subprime Pod Manager to lead our Special Finance department and maximize approvals, deliveries, and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Subprime/Special Finance pod.
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop sales and finance team members.
- Build and maintain a high-performing team focused on results and customer satisfaction.
- Work incoming internet, phone, and referral leads.
- Structure deals and match customers with the right lender.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, finance companies, and credit unions.
- Coach the sales team throughout the finance process to maximize approvals and deliveries.
- Ensure high approval, closing, funding, and delivery ratios.
- Monitor lender stipulations and funding to ensure deals are completed efficiently.
- Train team members on subprime sales processes, lender guidelines, and compliance.
- Track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including lead response time, approval rate, gross profit, funding time, and customer satisfaction.
- Create accountability through regular performance reviews, goal setting, and ongoing coaching.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Special Finance/Subprime automotive experience, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of prime and non-prime lending.
- Experience recruiting, hiring, and developing successful sales teams.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and finance targets.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment.
- Valid driver's license.

Pay: $59,353.56-$173,962.20 per year
