Job Description
About the Opportunity
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for frontline and corporate roles, including:
- Early Childhood Educators (ECEs)
- Assistant Teachers
- Supervisors
- Support staff
- Administrative positions
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements
- Draft and post job advertisements across various recruitment platforms
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and community partnerships
- Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews
- Coordinate interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers
- Conduct reference checks and support offer negotiations
- Prepare employment offers and onboarding documentation
Recruitment Strategy & Employer Branding
- Develop strategies to attract qualified childcare professionals in a competitive hiring market
- Build relationships with colleges, training institutions, and community organizations
- Attend career fairs and recruitment events as needed
- Promote the organization’s culture, mission, and employee value proposition
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with Ontario employment legislation and internal policies
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking systems
- Support onboarding processes including documentation collection and orientation coordination
- Assist with recruitment reporting and hiring metrics
About You
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment independently
- Experience recruiting within childcare, non-profit, healthcare, education, or community services is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Ontario employment standards and hiring best practices
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
Pay Range
$55,000 - $60,000 per year
