Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Business Development professional to manage end-to-end sales activities, including bidding processes, client acquisition, sales closure, and strategic account management for B2B and B2G projects.
1. Bidding & Proposal Management
- Identify and evaluate relevant tenders, RFPs, RFQs, and bidding opportunities across public and private sectors.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare commercial proposals, technical documents, pricing models, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of bids and adherence to organizational and client guidelines.
- Track bid outcomes and maintain detailed bid performance reports.
- Drive sales for B2B projects across assigned industries and geographies.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract finalization with clients.
- Ensure high conversion rates through effective follow-ups and value-based selling.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams for contract execution and payment milestones.
- Conduct client meetings across PAN India, including presentations, requirement discussions, and solution demonstrations.
- Prepare MIS reports, sales dashboards, and strategic insights for leadership reviews.
- Share market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback with internal teams.
- Operate in a highly target-oriented environment with clear KPIs and revenue goals.
- Monitor personal and team performance against targets and take corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure discipline in CRM updates, follow-ups, and documentation.
- Strong experience in B2B Sales, Enterprise Sales, or Project-Based Sales
- Hands-on exposure to bidding/tender processes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex sales cycles
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across PAN India
- Self-motivated, result-driven, and comfortable working under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- MBA or equivalent qualification (preferred)
- Experience in handling large-value B2B or government/enterprise projects
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting systems
