Test Engineer (WoA)

Job Description
Role Responsibilities: Responsible for performing computer hardware and software maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and reporting.
Support WOA Validation Engineering team for testing and validationPerform basic computer setup and maintenance, including computer disassembly and assembly, WOA installation and driver installation/upgrade, BIOS flash/upgradeRun testing and perform issue troubleshooting and reportingConduct reported issue reproduction and validation, collect and analyse test logs, generic triage & debugComplete all test requests on time and communicate revised schedules as necessaryUtilize software tools such as bug tracking tools, databases, and others as requiredSubmit bugs into tracking tools and accurately classify severity levelsPerform ad-hoc testing on new software and firmware components and assist in developing test plansUnderstand/modify/develop and execute simple scripts using Python or other programming languagesProvide periodic updates and feedback testing status or improvements proposal to test plansWork on multiple projects or tasks and complete them on schedule
Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalentAt least 3 years of working experience with Windows on Arm (WoA) Knowledge of PC hardware and softwareKnowledge of Windows OS and driver installation, bios upgrade, testing and troubleshootingAttitude to take initiative, learn, and growAbility to work independently with minimal instructionsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong collaboration and communication skills
