About the Role

Contour is looking for a senior sales leader with deep expertise in Transaction Banking and Trade Finance to drive strategic relationships with leading banks, corporates and financial institutions.

This role requires a strong understanding of trade finance operations, stakeholder management across banking functions, and the ability to independently lead complex enterprise sales cycles from origination through execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and manage client relationships end-to-end — from sourcing and engagement to deal execution and post-implementation coordination

Drive strategic engagement with senior stakeholders across:

- Trade Finance

- Transaction Banking

- Operations

- Compliance

- Technology / Digital Transformation

Navigate bank approval and onboarding processes across operational, risk, and compliance functions

Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic, operational, and partnership initiatives

Act as a highly accountable individual contributor capable of operating independently in a fast-paced environment

Ideal Candidate Profile:

8–10 years of experience in:

Transaction Banking

Trade Finance

Trade Digitization / Banking Platforms

Prior experience with leading banks such as:

HSBC

Standard Chartered

Citibank

ICICI Bank

Axis Bank

or similar institutions

Candidates from trade finance fintechs / digital trade platforms are also relevant

Strong understanding of:

Letters of Credit (LC)

Trade Finance workflows

Bank operational approval processes

Transaction banking ecosystems

Existing relationships within trade finance and transaction banking teams preferred

Exposure to digital assets or stablecoin frameworks would be a strong advantage

Education

• CA and/or MBA (Finance) preferred
