Vice President / Sr. Vice President – Projects ( Chennai)
Exp – 25 – 30 years
Qualification – BE/B.Tech (Civil)
- Develop and execute the organization's residential and commercial construction strategy in alignment with the company's vision, business objectives, and long-term growth plans.
- Define project priorities, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure consistent achievement of organizational goals.
- Provide strategic leadership for the planning, design, execution, and successful delivery of residential and commercial construction projects.
- Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines, budgets, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing project management team comprising Project Directors, Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Supervisors.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the Projects function.
- Establish, implement, and monitor robust quality assurance and quality control systems across all projects.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, environmental standards, safety regulations, and all statutory requirements.
- Drive effective cost management by monitoring project budgets, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring project profitability.
- Review and approve major contracts, tenders, purchase orders, and procurement decisions in coordination with the Procurement and Commercial teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, consultants, architects, contractors, vendors, and government authorities.
- Resolve critical project issues and stakeholder concerns while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and project success.
- Identify project risks proactively and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize schedule, financial, and operational impacts.
- Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance across all project sites.
- Champion the adoption of innovative construction methodologies, digital technologies, and sustainable practices to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate construction processes and implement best practices to enhance project delivery, cost optimization, and overall organizational performance.
- Provide regular strategic updates to the Executive Director on project progress, financial performance, operational challenges, and business risks.
- Analyze project performance metrics and MIS reports to support informed decision-making, strategic planning, and continuous business improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Sales, and Legal to ensure seamless project execution and achievement of business objectives.
