Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and creatively driven Associate Creative Director – Copy to lead copy and storytelling for a premium luxury jewellery brand portfolio. This role requires a strong mainline advertising background, exceptional command over the English language, and a proven track record of developing impactful brand narratives across television, film, print, and integrated campaigns.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working on premium, luxury, fashion, beauty, jewellery, or lifestyle brands catering to affluent and HNI audiences. They should be capable of translating strategic insights into compelling brand stories while mentoring and leading a team of writers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and development of compelling copy across TVCs, brand films, print campaigns, integrated marketing campaigns, and premium brand communication
- Translate strategic briefs into powerful creative ideas and brand narratives that resonate with luxury and premium audiences.
- Develop long-form and short-form copy that reflects the sophistication, exclusivity, and elegance of premium brands.
- Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Strategists, and Account Management teams to deliver high-impact campaigns.
- Present creative concepts and campaign narratives confidently to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Ensure consistency of brand voice and tone across all consumer touchpoints.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of copywriters, providing creative direction and constructive feedback.
- Drive creative excellence while maintaining high standards of language, storytelling, and craft.
- Stay informed about luxury, fashion, beauty, jewellery, and lifestyle trends to inspire innovative creative solutions.
- Contribute strategically to campaign development while maintaining a strong focus on creative execution.
What We Are Looking
ForExperience & Portfolio
- 9–12 years of copywriting experience within leading advertising agencies.
- Strong portfolio showcasing mainline advertising work, particularly for luxury, premium, fashion, beauty, jewellery, lifestyle, or aspirational brands.
- Demonstrated experience working on brands catering to HNI and affluent consumers.
- Experience leading and delivering 4–5 major brand films and/or television commercials (TVCs) from concept to execution.
- Proven ability to create impactful campaigns across TV, print, OOH, and integrated platforms. Social media experience is a plus but not the primary focus.
Creative & Leadership
- SkillsExceptional command of written and spoken English.
- Strong storytelling, conceptual thinking, and scriptwriting capabilities.
- Ability to craft sophisticated and nuanced communication suited to premium audiences.
- Experience leading and mentoring teams of copywriters.
