Location: Mumbai
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to drive OEM sales and business development initiatives. The role involves managing key OEM accounts, identifying growth opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and achieving sales targets while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow business with existing OEM customers while identifying opportunities for new business acquisition.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across automotive and industrial OEMs.
Achieve sales volume, revenue, and profitability targets for assigned accounts and territories.
Coordinate with customers for RFQs, quotations, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer requirements, and growth opportunities.
Prepare sales forecasts, demand plans, and business projections to support production and supply chain planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Technical Services to ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
Monitor order execution, deliveries, payment collections, and customer satisfaction metrics.
Support contract management, annual price negotiations, and resolution of commercial issues.
Drive customer engagement initiatives and represent the organization during customer visits, reviews, and industry events.
Generate periodic MIS reports and provide actionable insights for business growth.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline; MBA (Marketing) preferred.
4–9 years of experience in OEM Sales, Key Account Management, or Business Development within the Steel, Metals, Automotive, or Manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of steel products, OEM business processes, and B2B sales cycles.
Proven experience in sales planning, customer relationship management, and revenue generation.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Strong analytical ability with experience in sales forecasting and market analysis.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/SAP systems.
