Job Description:
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive with 6 8 years of experience in B2B IT
sales. The candidate will own the lead qualification process, maintain accurate prospect records in Salesforce, nurture potential clients through consistent follow-ups, and schedule discovery meetings with decision-makers and the management team. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, customer engagement, and proactive approach to business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, LinkedIn outreach, email,campaigns, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients across various industries and target markets.
- Research target organizations, identify key decision-makers and stakeholders, and execute strategic
outreach plans to engage prospects.
- Engage with prospects through emails, calls, LinkedIn, and other channels, and follow up consistently to
move opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Qualify leads by understanding business challenges, technology landscape, project requirements, budget,timeline, decision-making process, and readiness for a sales discussion.
- Track all prospect communications, email responses, follow-ups, meeting outcomes, and lead statuses in Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies, and identify
opportunities in areas such as Custom Software Development, AI & Automation, Enterprise
integrations, Cloud services, Web and Mobile App Development and Data Analytics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6- 8 years of experience in Business Development, Lead Generation, or B2B Sales.
- Proven experience selling IT Services, Software Solutions, Technology Consulting, or Digital Transformation
- services.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM.
- Strong understanding of sales pipelines, lead qualification methodologies, and opportunity management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong email drafting and professional follow-up capabilities.
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach platforms, and lead generation tools.
Added Advantage:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working with international clients, particularly in North America, Europe, or APAC markets.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technology services.
- Experience in proposal coordination and pre-sales support will be an added advantage
