Sales Intern – Bharat Managed Services (BMS)
Duration: 6 Months Internship (with the opportunity to convert to a full-time position upon successful completion)
Job Summary
Bharat Managed Services (BMS) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join its Sales and Business Development team. This internship provides hands-on experience in B2B sales, lead generation, customer relationship management, and market research. Interns will work closely with experienced sales professionals, contribute to business growth initiatives, and gain practical exposure to the complete sales cycle.
The internship is designed as a pathway to a full-time position, with successful interns being considered for permanent employment based on their performance, business requirements, and overall contribution during the six-month internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Research potential customers and identify new business opportunities.
- Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team.
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, quotations, and client documentation.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales data in CRM software.
- Follow up with prospective and existing clients to nurture business relationships.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on lead generation campaigns.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and performance dashboards.
- Participate in client meetings, sales reviews, and internal training sessions.
- Support customer onboarding and ensure timely documentation where required.
- Contribute towards achieving individual and team sales targets.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic understanding of sales and marketing concepts.
- Good presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM tools is an added advantage.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
Educational Qualification
- Pursuing or recently completed:
- BBA
- MBA (Marketing/Sales)
- B.Com
- BE/B.Tech
- Any bachelor's degree with an interest in Sales or Business Development

- Number of leads generated and qualified.
- Meetings scheduled with prospective clients.
- Lead-to-opportunity conversion rate.
- Accuracy and maintenance of CRM records.
- Timely follow-up with customers.
