Role Description The Business Development Manager internship is an on-site role based in Hyderabad. The intern will support lead generation, prospect outreach, and qualification of potential enterprise clients across target verticals such as restaurants, automotive services, healthcare, and construction. Daily responsibilities include researching market segments, preparing sales pitches and presentations, assisting with demos, and maintaining accurate records in CRM and sales tracking tools.
The role also involves coordinating with product and operations teams to understand client requirements, contributing to proposals, and gathering feedback to refine go-to-market strategies. Interns will gain exposure to AI-driven SaaS sales cycles, enterprise account management fundamentals, and metrics-based pipeline reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in business development, B2B sales, and SaaS or AI products, with the ability to understand operational challenges in industries such as restaurants, automotive, healthcare, and construction.
- Research and analytical skills to identify prospects, map target accounts, and interpret market and competitor data to support outreach strategies.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for preparing pitch materials, emails, presentations, and for participating in client conversations.
- Basic familiarity with CRM or sales productivity tools and comfort working with data in spreadsheets or dashboards.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, organize tasks effectively, and follow through on pipeline and reporting activities.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; prior internship or project experience in business development or sales is an advantage.
- Curiosity about AI, analytics, and operational intelligence, with a willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
