ABOUT VISOTONICS
Visotonics is India's foundational AI platform for inspection and monitoring of container terminals and warehouses — powered entirely by existing CCTV cameras, with zero new hardware required. Our proprietary VisoPercept™ engine handles edge-cases where general AI models fail: dust, fog, rain, night, occlusion, and chaotic real-world industrial environments.
Deployed at Adani, DP World, and Hind Terminals across 25+ sites, processing 0.4 million images daily. Backed by NASSCOM, MeitY, IIT Kharagpur, Microsoft for Startups, and NVIDIA.
THE ROLE IN ONE LINE
A sharp, field-driven individual contributor who owns the full sales cycle — from cold outreach to signed contract — in the container terminal and freight/logistics vertical, without team management responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own end-to-end B2B sales across container terminals, maritime/shipping lines, container freight stations (CFS), and inland container depots (ICDs) — from prospecting to deal closure.
• Leverage your existing freight and port industry network to generate qualified pipeline; supplement with cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, trade exhibitions, and physical site visits.
• Drive PoC conversions: manage the 3-month PoC window from kick-off to 'Before & After' report delivery, targeting the 30% PoC-to-deployment conversion rate.
• Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene — pipeline accuracy, stage progression, forecast inputs — and contribute to the sales playbook with learnings from the field.
• Gather structured market intelligence on competitor positioning, pricing benchmarks, and vertical-specific pain points; feed insights directly to the product team.
• Activate and work with existing channel partners (system integrators, camera vendors) to amplify reach without building an internal team.
MUST-HAVES
• B2B enterprise sales experience in freight logistics, container terminals, CFS/ICD operations, shipping lines, or port technology — with direct exposure to operations heads, terminal managers, or plant heads.
• Proven network within the freight container ecosystem: port authorities, container terminal operators, shipping lines, or logistics/supply-chain software buyers.
• Demonstrable track record closing deals with ₹10L–₹1 Cr ACV and 3–9 month sales cycles in a capital-intensive, proof-driven environment.
• Ability to hold a technical conversation around operations workflows: gate automation, container inspection, cargo counting, and damage detection use-cases.
• Strong written communication — independently prepare crisp 10-slide proposal decks and 2-page ROI documents without design support.
• Willingness to travel 40–50% across India for site visits, exhibitions, and client meetings.
GOOD TO HAVE
• Experience selling AI, computer vision, IoT, or industrial automation products in the logistics/port sector.
• Familiarity with the CCTV / IP video surveillance ecosystem and camera vendor landscape.
• ERP/CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
• Southeast Asia market exposure (Singapore, Malaysia port operators).
• Fluency in Hindi and English; regional language proficiency is a bonus.
