Position Overview:
The Hindi Content Writer will create impactful and engaging content that showcases BJS initiatives in Education, Water, Disaster Response, and Community Development. The role requires strong writing skills, creativity, and the ability to simplify complex information.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop high-quality content for websites, blogs, newsletters, social media, social development programs and organizations.
• Create human-interest stories that highlight BJS’s impact.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather insights and information.
• Ensure content aligns with BJS’s mission, vision, and organisational identity.
• Edit and proofread content for clarity and accuracy.
• Analyze content performance for future improvements.
• Develop content for events, campaigns, donor communication, and multimedia scripts.
Education and experience required:
• Bachelor’s degree in English / Hindi, Communications, Mass Media, or similar.
• Proven 4+ years of experience as a Hindi Content Writer, ideally in the social development sector.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in education, spirituality, ministry or social reformation.
• Experience in creative documentation and conceptualization of program writings.
• Strong research skills with the ability to translate complex topics.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Genuine interest in social development sector and community impact.
Skills:
Core Writing Skills:
• Storytelling, digital content writing, social media content, report writing, newsletters, press releases.
Research & Analytical Skills:
• Strong research skills, data interpretation, understanding of social development sector.
Digital Skills:
• Basic SEO, CMS familiarity, social media publishing, basic Canva/graphic skills.
Professional Skills:
• Attention to detail, communication, time management, creativity, empathy, proactive attitude.
