Customs Customer Service (Mandarin Speaker)Location: Tangerang City, Banten (WFO) Industry: Logistics / Freight Forwarding / Customs Clearance Job ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for Chinese-speaking clients, handling inquiries related to import customs clearance processes, shipment status, and documentation requirements.Coordinate and monitor end-to-end import clearance processes, including document preparation, customs submission, duty payment, and cargo release.Liaise with customs brokers, internal operations teams, and government authorities (Bea Cukai) to ensure smooth and timely clearance of import shipments.Review and verify import documents such as Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and other required customs documents for accuracy and completeness.Communicate proactively with clients regarding shipment updates, clearance status, delays, and issue resolution in both Mandarin and Indonesian/English.Handle and resolve customer complaints, exceptions, and clearance issues in a timely and professional manner.Maintain accurate records of import transactions, clearance status, and customer interactions in the system.Coordinate with finance team for duty, tax payments, and invoicing to clients. RequirementsOpen to all educational backgrounds; relevant experience is prioritized.Minimum 1–2 years of experience in customer service, customs clearance, or logistics operations.Proficient in Mandarin (written and spoken) is a must — to communicate with Chinese-speaking clients and counterparts.Familiar with import customs clearance processes and Bea Cukai regulations is an advantage.Understanding of import documents (B/L, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, PIB) is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).Detail-oriented, responsive, and able to work under pressure.Willing to work WFO in Tangerang City, Banten.
