Your role within the team
HR professional who plays a critical role in delivering end-to-end People & Culture support across designated Asian markets, acting as a trusted business partner to leaders while owning the Learning & Development agenda for Asia. This role balances hands-on operational HR, strategic people partnering, and capability building, ensuring people initiatives are aligned to business growth, culture, and future leadership needs across a diverse, multi-market region.
Key Responsibilities
HR BUSINESS PARTNERING1. Strategic HR Business PartnershipPartner with leaders across Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia or any markets as assigned to drive business growth, engagement, and capability development.Provide full spectrum HR advisory and coach leaders on performance, organization changes, workforce planning, and engagement.
- Talent & Leadership DevelopmentSupport leadership development, succession planning, and regional capability building initiatives.Contribute to transformation, change management, and cultural programs.
- HR Operations & Process ExcellenceEmbed consistent People & Culture processes across markets while ensuring local compliance.Collaborate with COEs (C&B, TA, etc.) to deliver HR programs and cycles (performance, compensation, talent review).Use people data to generate insights and manage accurate HR reporting.Oversee market office administration.Support ad hoc HR projects as assigned.
- Employee Relations & HR AdvisoryProvide expert guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.Ensure compliance with labour laws and support fair resolution of complex cases.
- Employee Engagement & CultureStrengthen engagement through staff needs analysis and ER activities.Partner with Group Communications on global events and activities.Promote company culture and values, support B-Corp and DEI initiatives, and help shape desired cultural behaviours.
REGIONAL LEARNING & DEVELOPMENTDesign and deliver the Asia Regional L&D roadmap aligned with business strategy and future capability needs, covering leadership development, functional capability building, early career programs, and learning pathways.Create and facilitate blended learning pathways combining formal training, experiential learning, coaching, and digital learning to uplift regional capabilities.Manage end to end L&D initiatives, including needs analysis, program design, content development, facilitation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.Oversee vendor management, from selection and negotiation to quality assurance and performance evaluation.Partner with market HR and business stakeholders to ensure consistent program deployment while adapting to local needs and cultural nuances.Advise leaders on L&D strategy, talent acceleration, and organizational development best practices.
Desired Skills and Experience
Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related disciplines.At least 5 years of proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods, or other fast‑paced commercial environments.Solid working knowledge of Singapore employment law, with broader regional HR exposure preferred.Strong experience supporting multiple markets; prior exposure to Indonesia and/or Malaysia is highly advantageousOperates effectively with cultural intelligence and respect across diverse markets.Demonstrates resilience, adaptability, and a positive mindset.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.Entrepreneurial, diplomatic, professional, and consistently maintains confidentiality.Ability to work hands on and be actively involved in day to day HR operations when needed.Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin; additional Asian languages are an advantage.
