INTRODUCTION
Sagepilot.ai is a 2 yr old, fast growing VC backed startup based in HSR, Bangalore. We offer an AI-native customer lifecycle platform. The platform deploys voice and chat agents in days, replaces or integrates with your existing stack across CRM, ticketing, outbound marketing and social listening, and gives you a secure workspace where humans and AI work together to delight customers.
We deliver business outcomes within weeks (improve CSAT, reduce support cost and grow revenue)
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full-cycle closing role, not a demo-runner seat and not a farming role sitting on inbound. You will own revenue end to end: running discovery with founders and CX leaders, building the business case, demoing the platform live, negotiating commercials, and closing. You will carry a quota and a pipeline, and you will be expected to build a meaningful part of that pipeline yourself.
The best candidates will be those who are equally comfortable pitching a bootstrapped D2C founder over WhatsApp and running a structured evaluation with an enterprise brand's leadership team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed agreement: discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, close
Sell to founders, e-commerce heads, and CX leaders at D2C brands, e-commerce companies, and high-growth startups
Run sharp, consultative discovery that uncovers real pain: ticket volumes, agent costs, response times, revenue leakage
Deliver live product demos tailored to each brand's channels, use cases, and stack
Build proposals and commercial structures for deals ranging from fast-moving SMB closes to multi-lakh enterprise contracts
Generate a portion of your own pipeline through outbound, referrals, and events, alongside inbound and SDR-sourced leads
Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene: every deal, stage, and next step accurate in real time
Forecast accurately, flag risks early, and report pipeline health to leadership weekly
Work closely with onboarding and customer success to ensure clean handoffs and fast go-lives
Feed market and competitor intelligence back into positioning and product
REQUIRED SKILLS
3 to 6 years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales experience with a track record of consistent attainment
Proven ability to run full sales cycles independently: discovery, demo, negotiation, close
Excellent written and spoken communication, confident, clear, persuasive, and to the point
Strong commercial instinct, you know when to push, when to discount, and when to walk away
Resilience, you treat rejection as signal, not verdict
Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Attio, Salesforce) and modern sales tooling
Genuine curiosity about AI, SaaS, and the D2C ecosystem, you can hold a credible conversation with a founder about their entire business, not just support tickets
Immediate availability with full-time commitment, based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate
