This approach is designed to spark creativity, build critical thinking skills, and help students gain confidence in technical and academic subjects.Role Description The Online SAT Tutor role at CreateNLearn is a remote, contract position focused on helping students prepare for the SAT through engaging, interactive online sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering SAT-focused lessons (Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing), assigning and reviewing practice tasks, and analyzing student performance data to personalize instruction. The tutor will provide clear explanations of test strategies, manage virtual classroom tools, and maintain regular communication with students and families about progress and goals.

The role also involves staying informed about SAT updates, collaborating with the broader teaching team when needed, and maintaining a supportive, inclusive learning environment.Qualifications Strong SAT subject-matter expertise, including high proficiency in SAT Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, along with test-taking strategies and familiarity with official SAT materials.Online teaching and tutoring skills, including experience using virtual classroom platforms, interactive tools, and digital resources to engage students in a remote learning setting.Instructional and communication abilities, such as lesson planning, explaining complex concepts clearly, adapting teaching methods to different learning styles, and providing constructive feedback.Student support and classroom management capabilities, including patience, empathy, the ability to motivate learners, and skills for maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and well-structured online learning environment.Beneficial qualifications include prior standardized test tutoring experience, a strong personal SAT score or equivalent assessment background, and familiarity with project-based or enrichment learning in STEM or related fields.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Education, Mathematics, English, or related discipline) or equivalent experience, reliable high-speed internet, and availability to teach during peak after-school or weekend hours.
