Job Title: Sales Lead
Location: Mumbai (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)
Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years
Employment Type: Full-time (Mon-Sat)
Compensation: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and personable Sales Lead to join the sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving lead generation, managing a high-volume sales pipeline, and building long-term relationships with importers and exporters.
Key Responsibilities
- Communication Excellence: Clearly articulate the value of the platform’s AI-powered fruit exchange and pre-booking opportunities to potential clients
- Lead Management: Generate, manage, and convert new leads while handling a sales funnel of at least 500 leads
- Sales Prioritisation: Prioritise leads effectively to maximise conversion rates and achieve sales targets
- Relationship Building: Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients to enhance retention and satisfaction
- Outbound Outreach: Conduct cold calls and emails professionally to drive conversions
- Meeting Coordination: Set up and manage meetings across multiple cities for business discussions
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams to align messaging and drive demand
- Performance Tracking: Use CRM tools to track leads, sales activities, and performance metrics
- Negotiation & Closing: Structure and negotiate pre-booking terms and close deals effectively
- Client Onboarding: Guide clients through onboarding for a smooth first transaction experience
- Cross-functional Feedback: Share client and market insights with product and operations teams
- Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular pipeline updates
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales / Customer Management / Business Development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage high-volume sales pipelines
- Comfortable with cold calling and proactive outreach
- Willingness to travel for client meetings
- Prior experience in agri-trade, fresh produce, import-export, or B2B platforms is a plus
