Team members join an environment that values clinical impact, technological excellence, and meaningful partnerships in healthcare.Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for driving sales growth for Hamilton Medical’s ventilation solutions within the assigned region. This role includes identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and building strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
The Sales Manager will conduct product presentations and demonstrations, support tender and bidding processes, and collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, clinical application specialists, and customer support. Daily activities involve tracking sales performance, preparing forecasts and reports, monitoring market trends and competitor activity, and ensuring that customer feedback is shared with relevant stakeholders. The role also requires regular field visits, training sessions for customers, and participation in conferences or trade events to enhance brand visibility and market penetration.Qualifications Strong sales and account management skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing in a healthcare or medical device environment.Experience in building and maintaining relationships with clinical and hospital stakeholders, with the ability to understand and address customer needs.Solid business and analytical capabilities, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and use of CRM tools.Knowledge of medical devices or critical care environments (ventilation or related fields preferred), and the ability to learn technical product features quickly.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and relevant local languages.Proven ability to work independently in the field, manage priorities, and meet or exceed sales targets.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA or equivalent commercial qualification is an advantage.Willingness to travel regularly within the region for customer visits, trainings, and events.Demonstrated commitment to ethical business practices and to supporting improved patient care through responsible sales activities.
