About the role:
The Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth across Southern India through direct sales, key account management and channel development for advanced diagnostic imaging, interventional and therapy systems. The role involves managing long-cycle capital equipment sales and engaging senior clinical and administrative stakeholders.
Scope and responsibilities:
- Achieve regional sales targets for CT, MRI, Angio/Cath Lab, and PET-CT systems
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from opportunity identification to order closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with radiologists, cardiologists, administrators and procurement teams
- Handle key accounts including corporate hospitals, diagnostic chains and government institutions
- Conduct technical, clinical, and commercial presentations in coordination with application and service teams
- Develop and manage regional channel partners and distributors
- Monitor market trends, competition and tender opportunities
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and strategic market inputs
Product Experience:
- CT Scanners
- MRI Systems
- Angio / Robotic Cath Lab Solutions
- PET-CT Systems
- Knowledge of Linear Accelerators (LINAC) is an added advantage
Desired Skills and Functional Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Life Sciences etc.
- 10+ years of experience in medical imaging or radiation oncology capital equipment sales
- Strong, established customer relationships across North/South/West India
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and commercial dynamics
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and territory management skills
- Self-driven, results-oriented and willing to travel extensively
