Business Development Manager / Senior Manager
Mass Fever Screening & Thermal Imaging Solutions
ROLE Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager/Senior Manager to drive sales and market development for Mass Fever Screening and Thermal Imaging Solutions with large institutional and infrastructure customers. The role requires a blend of business development, technical solution selling, tender management, regulatory engagement, and stakeholder relationship management.
The successful candidate will work with metros, airports, seaports, railways, transport authorities, mega hospitals, government agencies, smart city projects, and large enterprises to identify opportunities, influence specifications, secure approvals, and win strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute sales strategies for mass fever screening, thermal imaging, and public health surveillance solutions.
• Identify opportunities across airports, metros, ports, railways, bus terminals, hospitals, government institutions, and large public infrastructure projects.
• Engage with decision-makers, including infrastructure authorities, hospital administrators, procurement teams, consultants, system integrators, and government agencies.
• Drive business development activities from lead generation through order closure.
• Work with consultants and end-users to influence and specify products in project requirements and tender documents.
• Monitor upcoming tenders and proactively ensure product specifications are included where appropriate.
• Manage the complete tender lifecycle, including pre-bid meetings, bid preparation, compliance documentation, commercial submissions, and post-award follow-up.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to applicable standards and regulations.
• Develop relationships with ministries, public sector entities, health authorities, transport bodies, and infrastructure organisations.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-concept deployments, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with OEM partners, distributors, and channel partners to expand market reach.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and account plans.
• Achieve annual revenue, margin, and market development targets.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Instrumentation, Business, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• 8–15 years of experience in B2B, institutional, infrastructure, or government sales.
• Experience selling security systems, surveillance systems, thermal imaging solutions, medical equipment, healthcare technology, industrial automation, or similar technology products.
• Strong exposure to government procurement and tendering processes.
• Experience working with airports, metros, railways, ports, hospitals, public sector organizations, or large infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of regulatory approvals, compliance requirements, and technical specifications.
• Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence project specifications.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management abilities.
Preferred Experience
• Experience with thermal cameras, fever screening systems, security screening equipment, healthcare technology, or intelligent surveillance systems.
• Existing relationships within airport authorities, metro corporations, port trusts, railway organizations, large healthcare groups, government departments, or infrastructure consultants.
• Experience handling projects with values exceeding INR 1 crore.
• Familiarity with GeM, e-procurement platforms, and public procurement processes.
