Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Manager role based in New Delhi. The Social Media Manager will oversee daily content creation and publishing across social platforms, ensuring brand consistency and engaging storytelling that highlights Warehouse’s designers, events, and collections. The role involves planning and executing social media campaigns, optimizing posts for reach and engagement, monitoring performance metrics, and responding to audience interactions and inquiries.
The Social Media Manager will collaborate closely with marketing, event, and design teams to align social media initiatives with overall brand and campaign goals, and will stay updated on industry trends to keep Warehouse’s digital presence fresh and relevant.
Key Responsibilities1. Brand Research & Positioning- Conduct in-depth research on GPW brands, exhibition brands, and designer labels.
- Understand and document each designer's brand language, tone of voice, positioning, visual identity, and vocabulary.
- Define campaign-specific positioning for:
- GPWs
- Multi-designer exhibitions
- Solo designer sales
- Digital campaigns
- Develop campaign narratives, talking points, and messaging around trends, collections, categories, and sale themes.
- Ensure consistent brand positioning across all social media communication.
- Develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with marketing and business goals.
- Create monthly and campaign-specific content calendars covering posts, reels, stories, collaborations, and user-generated content (UGC).
- Define the objective of every content asset, including:
- Brand awareness
- Engagement
- Education
- Hype generation
- Urgency
- Persuasion
- Conversion
- Research platform trends, emerging content formats, competitor activity, and best practices.
- Recommend innovative campaign concepts and creative directions.
- Draft initial communication, captions, and messaging for social media creatives.
- Collaborate with the Communications team to refine content and maintain messaging consistency.
- Ensure all communication reflects the defined brand voice and campaign positioning.
- Maintain consistency in tone, vocabulary, and storytelling across platforms.
- Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, content creators, influencers, and external agencies.
- Prepare detailed creative briefs for campaigns, photoshoots, videos, and events.
- Guide UGC creation through:
- Creator selection
- Outfit planning
- Music references
- Shot lists
- Content direction
- Support production teams during shoots, store visits, and campaign executions to ensure content aligns with brand objectives.
- Execute approved content calendars across all social platforms.
- Publish content accurately and on schedule, ensuring correct captions, hashtags, tags, links, and metadata.
- Manage Instagram Highlights, bio updates, campaign landing links, and platform optimization.
- Maintain publishing schedules, approval trackers, and content repositories.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of campaigns.
- Plan and manage real-time social media coverage for GPWs, exhibitions, launches, fashion events, and designer showcases.
- Coordinate on-ground content capture with photographers, videographers, and creators.
- Ensure timely publishing of event content while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
- Execute live storytelling that aligns with predefined campaign objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance across all social media platforms.
- Analyse key metrics including reach, engagement, impressions, saves, shares, website traffic, and conversions.
- Generate actionable insights and recommend improvements for future campaigns.
- Stay updated on platform algorithm changes, social media trends, emerging tools, and competitor strategies.
- Continuously optimise content strategy based on performance data.
- Campaign-wise social media strategy and execution plans.
- Monthly and campaign-specific content calendars.
- Distinct brand positioning and communication strategy for every campaign.
- Timely publishing of approved social media content.
- High-quality real-time coverage of events and exhibitions.
- Consistent, on-brand communication across all social media platforms.
- Seamless coordination with internal teams, creators, and external partners.
- Regular performance reports with insights and optimisation recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Fashion, Media, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in social media management, preferably in fashion, luxury, lifestyle, retail, or events.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging social platforms.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, luxury branding, and consumer behaviour.
- Experience in planning and executing influencer and creator collaborations.
- Proficiency with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
