Vice President
AccelNorth Partners
Job Description
Job Description: Vice President
Industry - Private Markets
Who are we?
AccelNorth Partners is a UK-headquartered global advisory firm dedicated to the private markets industry. Our roots are in London, with additional offices in Dubai and India, while our operations and perspectives are global, with clients spanning Europe, the UK, Israel, Asia and the US. We are a one-stop solution for building strong investment and investable private businesses.
We help our GP clients optimise their strategy, operations, positioning and growth journeys, and provide support to our LP clients with planning investment strategy, building asset allocation, sourcing, and due diligence investable opportunities.
With decades of experience in private markets, as investors, advisors and entrepreneurs, our mission is to help our clients become more effective and efficient to maximise the impact of their marketing and investment activities.
We are an entrepreneurial business, having completed the “zero to one journey” with proven-out services and double-digit growth in revenue and EBITDA since inception. Over the past 6+ years, we have worked with 40+ clients and continue to build our fast-growing client base. We are offering opportunities to those from a professional background to join an excellent team, and be part of the disruption that we are creating in an exciting industry.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Vice President with 3+ years of post-MBA/masters experience or 5+ years of post-undergrad experience (masters not intended) in investment banking, private equity/venture capital, asset management, or top-tier strategy consulting. Advanced qualifications such as CFA, CAIA, or equivalent are highly valued.
We are currently owned and managed by our solo Founder, who is in his early 40s, and are looking to add a strong #2 on the production/execution side. The ideal candidate combines the ability to co-build a disrupter business in a low-risk way and have sound commercial judgement, operating with a high degree of autonomy in a remote, global working environment.
We hire with the long-term objective of building future equity partners of the firm. As such, beyond technical excellence, we place significant emphasis on leadership qualities, communication skills, ethical standards, and a team- and client-first mindset.
You must be highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and have the stamina and ambition to thrive in a fast-paced, commercial environment, including the willingness to put in the hours when required.
About the role:
As a Vice President, you will report directly to the Managing Partner and play a central role in both client delivery and the strategic development of the firm. You will act as a senior member of the engagement team, taking end-to-end ownership of workstreams and projects, while overseeing and mentoring Analysts and Associates.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and executing fundraising mandates, including oversight of financial modelling, investment materials (pitch decks, PPMs, DDQs, investment memoranda), investor research, and overall project management;
- Supporting clients in launching new products and strategies, including market sizing, competitive landscape analysis, cost–benefit analysis, and business planning;
- Advising on the design and build-out of private markets investment programmes, including sourcing strategies, due diligence processes, governance frameworks, and execution roadmaps;
- Acting as a key client interface, managing relationships, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring high-quality, timely execution;
- Driving workstreams independently, while mentoring and guiding junior team members, taking charge of their growth and development in the firm, and enabling success in their roles;
- Playing a meaningful role in business development, including identifying prospective clients, conducting strategic research on their needs, supporting pitch processes, and helping cultivate long-term partnerships; and
- Contributing to the internal build-out of the firm, including refining processes, improving knowledge capital, and shaping the firm’s culture and operating model.
- This is a full-time Vice President role, and we offer:
- Unique, senior-level exposure to the global private equity and venture capital ecosystem, including direct interaction with fund managers, LPs, and operators;
- A hands-on role in building and scaling a challenger business within an established industry;
- The opportunity to work closely with the Managing Partner on firm strategy, client development, and business build-out;
- Significant client exposure, leadership responsibility, and scope for accelerated personal and professional growth; and
- A competitive compensation package, including base salary and annual bonus, with a clear route to equity participation after the first year.
Due to the high volume of applications, we will only be shortlisting candidates who complete the Microsoft Form and submit their CV along with a concise summary of their educational background and relevant experience via email. Please include your current CTC and notice period in your application for consideration. Please send your email to [email protected].
