About the Role
We are expanding our team and looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Cargo Customer Service & Reservations Executive to join our fast-paced operations. If you have a passion for aviation logistics and a knack for providing stellar customer support, we want to hear from you.
We are looking for Cargo Customer service executives in Delhi (DEL) and Mumbai (BOM).
Responsibilities
- Reservations & Booking: Process air cargo booking requests from freight forwarders and clients accurately and efficiently using airline-specific cargo reservation systems.
- Customer Support: Respond promptly to inquiries regarding rates, flight schedules, space availability, and shipment tracking.
- Capacity Optimization: Monitor and optimize flight capacity to maximize load factors and revenue for our partner airlines.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all booking documentation complies with IATA regulations, customs requirements, and specific airline policies.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively handle irregularities, offloads, delays, and customer complaints to ensure minimal disruption.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise closely with warehouse operations, ground handling agents (GHAs), and airline operations teams to ensure seamless cargo transit.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in Air Cargo Reservations, Customer Service, or GSSA operations.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of air freight operations, IATA regulations, AWBs (Air Waybills), and dangerous goods (DGR) awareness.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in standard Cargo Reservation Systems (e.g., CargoSpot, iCargo, Skychain or similar airline systems) and MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
