Health & Safety Manager

Job DescriptionA leading Irish engineering consultancy is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join their team in Cork! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional looking to play a key role on some of Ireland's most significant infrastructure, buildings and energy projects. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary design teams, clients and contractors to promote best practice in health and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

Projects: Major infrastructure developments Buildings and commercial projects Energy and renewable energy projects Large multidisciplinary engineering projects Public and private sector developments Role: Acting as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) on a range of multidisciplinary projects Leading Health & Safety throughout the design process Coordinating design teams to identify and mitigate project risks Facilitating Health & Safety workshops and client meetings Monitoring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and best practice Preparing reports, audits and project safety documentation Supporting clients, project teams and contractors throughout project delivery Promoting a positive safety culture across all projects Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Health & Safety or a related discipline Chartered Health & Safety professional (or working towards Chartership) Strong knowledge of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations PSDP experience within a consultancy or design environment Excellent report writing and communication skills Experience working with multidisciplinary design teams Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills Salary & Benefits: €65,000 €80,000 DOE + benefits Hybrid working Pension scheme 24 days annual leave Ongoing CPD and professional development Structured mentoring from one of Ireland's leading engineering consultancies Active Sports & Social programme Opportunity to work on nationally significant engineering projects If you're a Health & Safety professional looking to progress your career with one of Ireland's leading consultancies, please reach out to Jade Murray at J.murr for a confidential discussion.
