Role Description This is a full-time Junior Architect role based in Worli. The Junior Architect will support the design and development of architectural and lighting concepts, preparing drawings, 3D models, and documentation for commercial, hospitality, retail, and public projects. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with senior designers, integrating lighting design into architectural plans, assisting in material and fixture selection, and ensuring design compliance with project requirements and local regulations.
The role also involves collaborating with project managers and consultants, participating in client presentations, and updating project documentation and CAD/BIM files. The Junior Architect is expected to contribute creative ideas, maintain organized project files, and support smooth execution from concept to implementation.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with an understanding of spatial planning and integration of lighting concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Integration relevant to architecture and lighting design (e.g., integrating design tools, plugins, or systems into project workflows).
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including task coordination, timeline tracking, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in design and documentation software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools) and basic knowledge of lighting design software is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent recognized qualification is preferred, with an interest in architectural lighting design.
- Strong visual communication, detailing, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and reports.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup from Worli, manage time effectively, and collaborate in diverse, cross-cultural teams.
- Curiosity about new lighting technologies and sustainable design practices, with a willingness to learn from senior specialists.
