India Sales function within Tally focuses on driving high quality customer engagement at scale. We are enthusiastic and growth focused team who support in building great brand experiences for customers and partners. Our sales experts work closely with the Partner ecosystem to ensure consistent delivery of delightful customer experiences and collaborative associations across geography.

What You Will Own
AGM Sales Planning, part of Sales Operations within the India Business Development team, focuses on driving long-, mid-, and short-term business strategies. The role supports three key areas: customers, partner ecosystem, and people initiatives.
The position is responsible for helping plan and execute processes, activities, budgets, and programs that support the organization's growth goals. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of strategic programs that improve business and sales planning. The role requires strong strategic thinking and leadership to support important business decisions.
Where Your Expertise Meets Our Future
- Understanding of sales system, sales budgets, market intelligence and review mechanism.
- Experience in short-term to long-term sales forecasting, and sales performance management.
- Experience in development of insightful dashboards, reports and automation of the same.
- Very good presentation skills with capability to simplify and present complex data insights.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
- Must have hands-on expertise in tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Experience with AI tools (beyond ChatGPT), and analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau are added advantage.
What We Look for Beyond Skills
- Support development and implementation of comprehensive sales plans, aligned with company objectives, to drive revenue growth and market expansion based on detailed analytics.
- Develop and maintain sales performance metrics, providing regular insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and finance teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales plan.
- Analyse sales trends, manage sales pipelines, and provide accurate forecasting to enable informed business decision taking.
- Anchor India sales budgets and spends planning and tracking to support sales objectives.
- Setting up review governance and driving actions and outcome from review.
- Develop engaging and innovative sales motivation programs / drives to provide required boost to business, in alignment with organisational priorities.
