Important: This is an initial contractual role for 6-9 months. High performers will be converted to a full-time employee (FTE) role based on performance against defined goals during this period.About DataekoDataeko is a Hyderabad-headquartered digital engineering and solutions consulting firm helping enterprises navigate platform complexity. We partner with category-leading technology vendors including JFrog, IBM, Siemens, ClickHouse and meshIQ, and design, sell and deliver architecture, implementation and managed-service engagements for enterprise clients across BFSI, telecom, manufacturing, logistics and the public sector.About the roleWe are building a Sales Development Representative (SDR) function to fuel the pipeline for Dataeko’s enterprise sales team across our OEM partner practices.This role is open to confident, articulate freshers as well as SDR/inside-sales professionals with up to a few years of SaaS or technology experience.
You will be the first point of contact between Dataeko and prospective enterprise buyers—qualifying interest, booking meetings and keeping the pipeline clean and moving for the field-sales team.This is a genuine growth track, not simply a call-list role. Strong performers can convert from contract to a full-time role within 6-9 months, with a clear path toward a Product & Services Sales Manager role over time.What you’ll do• Research and prospect into target enterprise accounts and personas through email, LinkedIn, phone and other channels.• Qualify inbound and outbound leads against a defined ideal customer profile, including industry, company size and buying signals.• Book qualified discovery calls and demos for the Sales Manager and Senior Sales Manager.• Maintain accurate CRM records for every touchpoint, lead status and next step.• Support outbound campaigns, event follow-up and nurture sequences across our OEM partner practices.• Surface market insights from prospect conversations, including competitor mentions, buying triggers and objections.What you’ll bring• 0-3 years of experience in SDR, inside sales or a related role in a software products or solutions company. Freshers with excellent communication skills are welcome to apply.• Strong spoken and written English, with confidence in professional conversations and early objection handling.• Familiarity with CRM and SDR tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sales-engagement and email-sequencing tools.• Resilience, persistence and self-motivation for outbound work in a hybrid or remote environment.• Strong organisation, follow-through and CRM discipline.• Curiosity and coachability, with an interest in learning enterprise technology categories including DevSecOps, integration, data/AI, low-code and observability.PreferredPrior SDR or inside-sales exposure to JFrog, IBM, Siemens/Mendix, ClickHouse, meshIQ or comparable enterprise software categories is an advantage, but not mandatory.Work model and engagement• Hyderabad-based candidates: hybrid work model, with 1-2 days per week from the Dataeko Hyderabad office.• Candidates based elsewhere in India: remote engagement.• This is a 6-9 month contractual role, with FTE conversion based on performance.CompensationMonthly Total compensation (inclusive of performance bonus): INR 30,000-40,000.Compensation during the contract period is structured strictly on a 50:50 fixed-to-performance basis.
